Mom and Dad promised I could go see the original start to the Iditarod Race. I put on my "Survivor" adventure scarf and off we went. Cinder stayed home and took a nap without me there to bother her! I think I could do this race!
Yep I could definitely do this! Do you think they take almost 13 yr olds?
Here I am with my Dad at Ressurection Bay! So fun I could be with my Besties today!
Next Mom and I waited while Dad went in a seafood processing plant, I get so worried when Dad leaves even for a minute so I watched carefully!
I went in back to the coach and Mom and Dad hiked to Exit Glacier. It's kinda ugly with the Morraines making it look dirty but the blue is cool!
After their hike, Mom and Dad went out to lunch but came home with fresh Rockfish for tomorrow's dinner!

It's pouring down rain, as Dad loves to say, "time to make lemonade out of lemons," so off they went to the Sealife Center.
This is an educational and rehabilitation facility in Seward. Nice displays although we are spoiled with animals in the wild!
Small aquariums but some fish we aren't used to seeing...
There were otters and sea lions in rehab
And a nice bird sanctuary...
And a small area to touch and feel...
After a nice burger for lunch it's back home! Hopefully the rain will slack up so we can make another run at the whales...otherwise, more lemonade!
Aug 5
Well it's raining today so we made the decision this morning not to leave tomorrow, going to give the whales another shot tomorrow!
