As if Mom and Dad didn't have enough bear stuff with bear spray, bear whistles, today they bought bear bells. You'd think they didn't want to see a bear when I know for a fact that's 90% of this hiking stuff! The lady said talking loudly works just as well, but Mom said she'd have to do all the talking! Since it was raining they started at MacDonald Lodge, the lodge was celebrating 100 years today! Mom said it was very beautiful!
Well the rain didn't stop so my hearty Mom and Dad took off on another hike. This one around John Lake. They said the took a funny turn and made it a lot longer than planned!
After their long hike they were ready for some lunch at the West Glacier Cafe, nothing to write home about, but Dad had a huge hot dog while Mom went for comfort food!
While lunch was filling they had been hearing about this Glacier, MT delicacy and had to try it...Huckleberry Pie!
Well fortunately that meant home for naps with me! And the Adventure continues tomorrow!
